As an Accredited member of the BACP, I bring 12 years of experience as a counsellor. I have enhanced this with training in Online and Telephone Counselling, Coaching Skills, and various other relevant areas, which I can apply effectively in my therapy practice.
As a person-centred counsellor, my approach places you—the client—at the heart of your own journey, with every session tailored to support you as an individual. My belief is that counselling should be something to be afraid of and I will use my experience to make you as comfortable as possible even though we are dealing with painful emotions.
I work with adults and adolescents for all types of issues: anxiety, anger, depression but also with trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, confidence issues and grief.
My work with couples is for communication/relationship issues where a trauma or unresolved anger or abuse issue is causing a break-down in understanding and communication.
Based on my counselling experience, I’ve observed that many clients start to feel significantly different after the initial weeks. Therefore, I utilize my coaching to provide practical tips that facilitate change and offer coping strategies to help you move forward.
